A special thank you to Larry, Gail, and Leo Simburger for hosting the FAA inspection and follow up work at their lovely shop and property in Enumclaw, WA. They also gave this aircraft builder a room with a view, a comfortable bed, and lots of yummy meals.
During the inpection, an eagle flew overhead calling for a mate. Then later in the day, Mt. Rainer peeked out and let the builder know, the Tahoma spirit was not far away.
Inspector Ely and Inspector Rich arrived in the morning. A modification was made to the burner valve and by afternoon the airworthness certificate was issues for Chairlife One to move onto the Flight Test Phase. The next 10 hours of flight operation can be done in Moses Lake, Prosser, and Valleyford, WA. Photo credit to Gail and aircraft builder.
